Parent’s wedding bands

The client for this piece gave me full license to create anything that inspired me. It was important to me to allow for the rings to be returned to their original state if the client wanted to give them to her children or future grandchildren to wear as they were by her parents. The look of the smaller ring fitting perfectly inside the larger ring was kismet to me and I decided to use that as the basis for the design

In keeping with my commitment to leave the rings intact we dipped them in white rhodium to make them white which can easily be polished off. Additionally, we only made the slightest of holes to put the pin through to attach the diamond pavé disk. With little effort, the hole can be filled in and not leave a trace of having been there.

One interesting note is the secret that this pendant holds. The pin that runs through this pendant that holds it all together actually allows the two rings and the diamond disc to spin independently of each other sparkling and dancing with the light just as her parents had with each other.
