Use Sapphire from Client’s Grandmother’s ring
Client wanted a “Showstopper”
White Gold
This ring was being designed for the client at the same time as a pair of Earrings which were to be worn together (see Case Study Six) however she did not want them to be a matched set
Sketches, Renderings and CAD Illustrations
This ring certainly fulfilled its brief. It was created in three pieces, two separate rings and the basket for the sapphire. It was hand assembled and then all gems were handset.
The pavé diamonds were set in a honeycomb pattern to allow the maximum amount of diamonds to be used and keeping them as tightly together as possible.
This pattern creates great brilliance as light dances across it.
